Le Mans 24 Heures Classic, July 10-11, 2010
The Le Mans Classic is held every two years; 2010 will see the 5th Le Mans Classic continue its' rapid ascendancy to being one of the great historic motor racing events. It will put together the cars which wrote the 24 Hours history book between 1923 and 1979 - In total, it is expected there will be more than 350 participants.

The cars will be divided into six grids, each representing a different era. They will follow each other on the track, hour after hour, for 24 hours. The start of the race will take the form of a traditional Le Mans start. In keeping with tradition, the start will be on Saturday at 16:00 with the finish 24 hours later.

In addition to an exhibition of an array of wonderful cars, this international historic car meeting will also feature a parade of European Clubs on the long circuit and an auction of collectors' cars and automobilia.

All our hotels have been chosen to be within walking distance of the superb Le Mans tramway system or to be within walking distance of the circuit entrance. The tramway takes you to Antares, where you would alight for the circuit. Tramway Map

As in previous years, we are delighted to work with Car Clubs and offer specific rates for groups attached to clubs participating at Le Mans. Please call for details.

The Classic Weekend

The Classic takes place every other year and is a superb throw back to one of the most legendary races in the world. It is the biggest European assembly of historic cars. Historic cars have universal appeal and there's no finer sight than a full grid of cars and drivers lining up, ears of corn style, to be first off on the formation lap.

396 cars whose common feature is to have taken part in the Le Mans 24 Hours between 1923 and 1979, will be divided into 6 grids according to their period. In keeping with tradition, the start will be at 16:00 on Saturday afternoon and the chequered flag will be hung out at 16:00 on Sunday.

The entry list is mouth watering: an Aston Martin LM 1931, a Ferrari 250 GT Bedinetta 1960, Ford GT 40's from the mid 1960's and the infamous Porsche 917 from the early 1970's.
