One of the Maitre C's acts as a true Maitre d' making guests believe that they are in charge of all catering arrangements. The chef comes out the kitchen, approches the waitress on and bended knee, asks her to marry him. She say "yes!" and the two of them burst into a operatic love duet.

However, the Maitre d' is jealous and upset and a row ensues with a further aria about love lost. However, they do find a way to reconcile and all performers sing a rousing song to celebrate the forthcoming marriage of the waitress and chef...and then the party begins....

II

Les Maîtres C's begin the night by welcoming guests and helping to serve the food and drink. They blend in with the other real waiters and dress in the same outfits.

Then as the main course is served, one of the waiters goes on stage and announces that the band hasn't turned up. However, this is no cause for alarm as some of the waiters are prepared to help out. He then invites other waiters on to the stage and they burst into song.....

"I've had so many good comments about the wedding especially your performance. In fact I've never seen so many grown men cry as when Nessun Dorma was sung and I have to also say from my perspective a tear rendering performance of si mi chiamo Mimi, it was just fantastic."

"Just a quick note to say a big thank you once again for such a memorable operatic evening. It has been the topic of conversation ever since. Interestingly the event also had the added bonus of bringing parties together who didn't know each other at the beginning of the evening. They all then had a common topic of conversation. Thanks to all your team!"

"I would like to thank you for another really excellent and fun evening at Squerryes. The performers all gave their best and everyone enjoyed themselves. It was a memorable evening for all and I hope you all felt it went well. Do send them all my best wishes."

"A huge “ thank you ” for Tarsha's brilliant operatic performance, making our evening such a great success last Thursday. Hopefully, if I have the opportunity to organise any other events like this in the future, I will obviously be in contact again.   In the meantime, I would not hesitate to recommend Tarsha to any business / personal contacts."

"Thank you for what you did at Helen and Liam's wedding — it was superb. All of the guests were completely taken in by the ruse and I have had thank you letters mentioning how much they enjoyed the performance and numerous verbal accolades. Can you thank Tarsha and
her colleagues for me."

The guests were absolutely delighted and on behalf of everyone there I would like to thank you very much indeed for the splendid operatic show that Simone, Mark and Christopher gave us which we will remember for ever. Superb in every respect. Please pass on my thanks. I will call you again for next year! A thousand thanks for a wonderful event."
